Overview

The MCCCLC grant is designed to address the needs of students in Morgan County, specifically at-risk students, by providing a variety of activities that will enable students and their famililes to require or strengthen the sills necessary for success in the 21st century work force.

This grant incorporates the following programs:

Enrichment and academic support
Tutoring and mentoring
Family literacy and education
Core-content related activities
Recreation and fitness
Drug and violence prevention
Fine arts
Technology
Parent involvement
Character education
Entrepreneurial education

All programs are offered to students, families, and community members free of charge. Programs meet before school, after school, on Saturdays, and during the summer. Before-school sessions meet one hour before the start of the regular school day. The after-school sessions meet from 3:30 to 5:30 on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.
