Job Description:
Student Resource Officers (SRO) are full time deputies employed by the Morgan County Sheriff's Office. They are assigned to the eight schools in Morgan County and assist the principal and other school officials. Their duties Include:
- Keeping The Peace
- Investigating criminal activities
- Patrolling school grounds
- Establishing a rapport with students to where they feel comfortable to talk about any of the issues that SROs deal with on a day-to-day basis.
